May 2008.

31. Recital with soprano Etenesh Bell.
Michael Lampard will present a recital with young upcoming soprano Etenesh Bell and pianist Stephanie Ambercromby. Michael will sing the song cycle "Six songs from a Shropshire Lad" by Butterworth and a bracket of songs composed by leading Italian opera composers from the 19th Century.

30. Premiere of Dylan Sherridan's 'PSALM: Eighty-four
Michael Lampard and Matthew Dewey will sing the premiere of Dylan Sherridan's new chamber work for voices and instrumental ensemble at the Composer's Concert at the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music.

21. Private premiere performance of Oswald Matz's 'Liebeslied'
A private performance of the world premiere of Oswald Matz's lieder 'Liebeslied' for language teaching guru Ann Matz, the dedicatee who even though having the lied composed for her in Vienna during the 1930's by her husband had not heard it, and now at 99 years of age, Michael Lampard and Philippa Moyes are presenting the song to her for its world premiere.

21. Bel Canto Australia Annual Concert
A mix of solo's choral music, duets and trio's from the talented young performers of Bel Canto Australia.

16. Hobart City Carols in the Bay
Michael will conduct the Hobart Orpheus Choir in their performance in this years carols by candlelight.

30. The Hobart Orpheus Choir's 130th Anniversary Concert.
Performing; Dvorak's Te Deum, and the premieres of Don Kay's "Her Passion Tells" and Michael Lampard's 'Ave verum Corpus'.
Featuring: Gina Bashford, Michael Lampard, Christopher Richardson and the Derwent Symphony Orchestra.

17. The Call of Aurora
An new opera by Joe Bugden
Starring: Matthew Dewey, Michael Lampard, Michael Curtain and Pamela Andrews.

8. Final Performance Exam
Michael's final exam recital as part of his Bachelor of Music with Honours degree at the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music.
Accompanied by Karen Smithies, Michael will perform arias by Handel, Mozart, Verdi and Britten as well as a selection of lieder by Schubert. On the program, also, is the premiere of the aria 'The Madness' from Matthew Dewey's opera "The Buzz of the Sea".

7. American Opera. From 1950 to the present
Where it has come from and where it is headed.
A lecture recital presented by Michael Lampard. Michael will talk about the history and present and perform music by John Adams, Menotti and Tobias Picker.
